For those of you who don't know, Rachelle is majoring in Marine Biology at BYU. Right now she is spending her Spring Term in Coos Bay, Oregon. She sent some crazy pictures that I thought I would share. Here is what she said in her email:

Things here are going pretty good. Today a fisherman brought us a huge squid to study that he pulled up with his catch. From tip to tentacle was over 12 feet. Thought you might all want to see the pictures. I have a lot of pictures of and have been studying mostly urchins, sea stars, feather duster worms, barnacles, chitons, etc. But this squid and the seals and sea lions that come in around the fishing dock are the most exciting thing to me and I wish I could study more stuff like that. Hope you all enjoy the pictures and are doing good! ~Rachelle
