Potholes

The weekend after Josh's funeral, my family took off for a few days. We needed a little break and some time to enjoy each other's company. It may seem like an odd thing to do right after a funeral, but we really needed the chance to be together as a family and to do something normal for us. We spent two days sitting on the beach soaking up the sun, it was wonderful. These pictures aren't in any particular order.

Taylor spearfishing.
Andrew skiing.
Taylor and Emma burying Alec.
Dad resting.
Me sticking my tongue out at someone taking pictures unannounced.
My mom and I.
Emma and Rachelle. Don't they look like sisters?

Andrew thinking about skiing.
Taylor digging a hole.
Andrew and Dad pushing out bellies. Sorry Dad, I think Andrew has you beat.

On the way home we had a little trouble with the boat trailer. No one was hurt, but we ended up having to get it towed, which was interesting for a bit. And then my dad had to make another trip back out there to pick up the boat.

Even with that, it was a very relaxing, much needed break from life. We can't wait until Priest Lake!
