Alive

We are alive. I realize that I have not posted in a month and a half. But we are busy, and I have not wanted to spend anymore time sitting at a computer. Coming soon I will post some pictures.

Really, I will post some pictures soon! Just know that we are alive and things are good, just busy!

Seattle Half Marathon

Andrew and I ran our first half marathon today! We weren't as well prepared as we had hoped. The time change messed up our running schedule more than we had anticipated. But we were still able to run the entire 13.1 miles without stopping (except for one bathroom break!). Andrew ran with me the entire time, which was great, it really kept me going. We weren't fast, took us a whole 2 hours and 24 minutes, but that gives us a good goal to beat for next time. All in all, we were happy with how it went for a first one. We felt pretty good most of the way. And we killed the hills! There is a picture of the course map below, you will probably need to click on it to make it bigger. We ran the green arrow route. It was a very interesting route all through downtown Seattle and along the waterfront. When we got to the end my family was even there to cheer us in, which was a great surprise! We didn't take any pictures, but when we get some from our family and friends I will be sure and share them with you!
