Not quite as big as a horse

You'd be surprised how common it is for us to hear about how Lucy is going to be as big as a horse. Or ask about her saddle. Or something along those lines. I can't wait to see what it's like when she is full grown. Can you hear the sarcasm?

When we were in Utah, having a quick dinner with Tommy, Meg, and Jaevin on our way through Logan, Lucy got to meet the horses that live in the pasture next to their apartments. And let me tell you, she is not as big as a horse. Nor will she ever be as big as a horse. Horses are big. I know this, but somehow I forget in between sightings.
"Mom, I'm nervous.  That thing is big!"
"Hey, it smells like carrots!   I like carrots!"

"Did you drop any of those carrots?  Huh?  Those were meant for my dinner you know!"

P.S.  We got a lot of photos of the horses and Lucy.  None of Tommy, Meg, or their adorable baby Jaevin.  Any tips on how to retrain your photographer husband to take photos of the people you are visiting?  Especially when you only get to see them once a year, if you're lucky!
