First Purchases

I know it is super early to start buying baby gear, but I have a hard time passing up a good deal.  And I figure that if I find something that I personally want more, maybe I can use them as a gift somewhere along the line!  Since ordering them, I realized that the deal probably isn't really that rare, but oh well.  I got a code from a friend to one of these from here, for just the cost of shipping.  What do you think, have you used one of these before? Do you like them?  The print options weren't my favorite, but the basic black is okay.

After "purchasing" the nursing cover, I got a code for a one of these, from here, also just for the cost of shipping.  Have any of you used a sling like this?  Would you recommend it?  If not do you have a favorite?  I really want something that either Andrew or I could use. My thinking is that even if it's not my favorite sling, and I end up purchasing something else, it's small and could fit easily in a diaper bag to bring with you somewhere in case you wanted one. And ten dollars isn't a bad price!

I have a nursing cover like that and it works pretty well. Jaevin is at the point though where he just pulls it away or plays with it so trying to be covered up doesn't exactly work anymore. Much better than a blanket though. I also have a sling like that and Jaevin hated it. He just doesn't like to be confined or swaddled in any way. Hopefully my next will appreciate it cause it sure would make life easier. Both good purchases in my book.

I couldn't live without my nursing cover!! And Camille loved using the sling--I think it helps to use it right after they are born so they get used to it quickly. It holds them right against your tummy so they feel nice and snuggly again. I used it for walks, outings, and even around the house on fussy days when she wouldn't let me put her down so I could still get some things done!

I LOVE my Moby wrap. I mean... I could marry it and live happily ever after, kinda love. Norah spent her first 6 months in it and we still use it all the time. I'll bring it when we see you guys next week and you can give it a try! (They are a little pricier so you should test before buying... and I know a little bebe and a medium sized bebe that would be perfect test subjects!) :)

I got this nursing cover!! Are you using cloth nursing pads? If so where are you getting them?
