In my numerous internet encounters this past week, there were a few things that stood out to me, things that my brain keeps coming up to.

Like this article about a mother's experience with secondary drowning. So scary.  I had no idea that such a thing was possible.  While I don't think it's a huge risk, I'm glad it's tucked away safely in the back of my mind.

And this one, about drama free friendships.  By these standards, I fail...I am totally guilty of giving unsolicited parenting advice, I'm probably going to show up 20 minutes early instead of late, and I'm not going take anyone shopping because I hate shopping (worse than the dentist in my opinion).  But I very much appreciate those friendships that can tolerate my sporadic communication, interrupted conversations, dirty house and kids, will make plans around naptimes and bedtimes, and will make food with us instead of expect to be waited on.  Thanks for some awesome friends.

And I've been thinking about tattoos: hummingbirds and dandelions top on the list.  I hate the idea of stealing someone else's art, I want something original, but I'm a terrible artist myself.  Maybe I'll have to commission a piece.  I'm loving the splash of watercolor this one, I can't get over it.  So simple.  I've never actually seen one in person, I'm curious how they look, feel, hold up...
