I came across something on the internet (blog? facebook?) about cleaning your washing machine. I had never done this. Ever. I mean, I wipe up the laundry detergent if I spill it, sometimes. But I read this post, and then went go look at my washing machine. And it was gross. So gross. I should have taken a before picture, but I didn't even think about it. Gunk everywhere, in the cracks, around the lid, the dispensers. All of it. So cleaning the washing machine went on the to-do list. Here is midway through picture, after I had wiped it down. Can you see how gross the water is? Why had I never thought of doing this?
Here's the post I read about the process, it was super easy. And having a clean washing machine prompted me to clean the rest of my laundry room, which badly needed it!
